Parent-Child Spanish Classes

Our Program

Parent-Child classes offer parents (or caregivers) and children ages newborn to 6 years of age an opportunity to come together in a nurturing intercultural environment to play and learn for a couple of hours each week.  No background in Spanish is necessary.

Under the guidance of a qualified teacher, the program includes free play, circle time, song, poems and stories in Spanish.  We also prepare and share a wholesome snack.  In this way, the teacher and parents work together to provide a model of community for young children.

These small-group classes also offer parents a valuable opportunity to observe and support their child's interactions in a group setting and a repertoire of Spanish songs and activities that can be incorporated into home life.  The Parent-Child program is a wonderful introduction to our holistic approach to multilingual learning with ongoing opportunities for adult education throughout the year.

Our Groups

Bebes: Ages 0-18 Months - Wednesdays: 8:30-9:30 - Sept. 5 - Dec. 19 (15 classes)

The Bebés Class is a unique opportunity to celebrate parenthood and share your experiences with other parents.  Class begins with a snack and tea (provided) and conversation.  Each parent has a chance to share and ask questions.  Then, everyone moves to the play area and enjoys some floor time, songs, finger games in Spanish.

Please note: Bebés class is limited to participants in the stated age range only.
