Our Program

Our summer Global Adventures Camps offer children ages 2-12 an extraordinary opportunity to learn languages and experience global cultures.  While immersed in a target language*, children have fun with music, crafts, games, movement, food and stories from around the world!  Weekly themes are presented to expose the students to new experiences and new vocabulary.  Our passionate instructors bring a colorful range of talents and intercultural experiences to share.  *Unless indicated, no prior knowledge of languages is necessary.

Location

Our summer camps take place  at our beautiful Oceanside campus.  We are located at 509 Sportfisher Dr. Oceanside, CA 92054.

Our Camps

Early Childhood Language Immersion Camps - Ages 2-6

Monday-Friday | June 17 - August 23 | Half-Day 8:30-12:30, Full-Day 8:30-3:30, or Extended Day 8:00-5:00

Early Childhood Language Immersion Camps offer our youngest campers a variety of age-appropriate learning activities and play in a beautiful and safe setting.  The activities of the day are related to the country of the week and include cooking, storytelling, art, handcrafts, and time for outdoor exploration and creative play.  Our camps are the perfect place for young children to explore cultures and enjoy learning languages!  Please dress in comfortable clothes and bring a sun hat each day.

  • 9:00-9:30 — Morning Circle - songs, movement, games, & story

  • 11:00 – 12:00 — Country Study and Arts & Crafts

  • 2:30 – 3:30 – Snack, clean up, outdoor play & full-day dismissal

  • 4:30 — 5:00 - Free play and extended day dismissal

Grade School Language Immersion Camps - Ages 6-12

Grade School Language Immersion Camps  offer arts & crafts activities, age-specific handwork projects, and lots of regional-inspired activities.  The morning program begins with a “main lesson” and age-specific handwork projects related to the country of the week, followed by a regionally-inspired cooking activity and a snack. After snack, we have a music class and share a story or reader’s theater. We conclude the day with lunch and a period of free play and games.   In the afternoon, we walk to the library where we continue our study of Spanish literature and cultures. We return to the school for gardening, outside play, and full-day dismissal. Optional enrichment classes run from 3:30-4:30 daily. Please dress in comfortable clothes and bring a sun hat.

Tuition & Fees

Summer Weekly Tuition Schedule - June 2019 - August 2019

We offer a 5% sibling discount, a 5% military discount, and a 5% discount for enrollment in 2+ weeks (can be combined!).

Fees

Enrollment Fee - $20 per child (for new students only)

Summer “Book” Fee - $15 per child per week – Includes Music Booklets and CDs ($10 per sibling)

Extra Fees

- $5.00/ for every 5 minutes that a child is picked up late or arrives before their scheduled time

- $8.00/ hour for drop-in extra care (subject to availability)
